I remember it like yesterday..
The launch party,the album listening party,the live shows...Then......
Zilch..
Life in S.L. goes back to normal...
We smoked our weed,drank our brews and made the odd tune now an then and some were content..
Nearly 10 years later Joker Starr drops the looong awaited mixtape/album The Northborough Estate Project.
Being partially involved I'm going to try an give a completely unbiased review.(This is gonna be hard 'cos it is VERY good).

Guru kicks thing's of with a little big up then we have an intro to all the Slough heads.
Ou La La La sums up Joker's relationship with the mic...He like's to f around..
He has a enthusiastic charisma when he rips mics.
The title track sees Joker and OPN talk about the Britwell over a manic horn beat,then Keith Lawrence lays down a banger of a beat where Joker plays the bull fighter with bullshit M.C's(listen to it and you'll understand!).
Kriptic Spitle sees my partner in crime DreMilla and Joker spit over another manic/messy beat.
Monarchology is basically the Crimonology beat with Dark Angel/Skanky and Bangie doin it how they used to back in the days.
Soliheen drops heat with his trademark sound and even drops a few bars.(check the bass on this..i can only describe this as gritty jazz lol!!)
Drama's a CLASSIC...nuff said!!
Kingdom Come features Mischievous,OPN & Genesis Elijah over a beat with a LOT of g-funk synths(I think I overdid them..).The end result sounds a bit messy but it still works.
Road Man Tune's a tune about everyone I know...Then Beat Butcha smoothes things out a bit with Halal Capone.We then come to another of my favourite's on here.
More Booze Please is a Dan Solo classic.This tune could be aimed at me,and knowing Joker Starr it most probably is..I had a LOT of days like this...
Jehst drops a gem on Memories.(The guests on here all put in a good shift)

The Ahmos produced Slough Man sees Joker Starr run through his lyrical skills while he goes on a personal run down of what he's been up to and explains THAT hiatus.

Back In The Day is some off time/off key remenisence shit..
Baby Blu Dub is some dub for the weed smokers..Some serious dub..
Dark Angel & Micall Parknsun guest on the Dan Solo produced Hollywood which brings this project to a close.
Some of the mixdowns are not of the Aftermath/Dr Dre quality but this is hip hop from Slough on a budget.
I know that there's a lot more to come from Joker Starr and maybe some of the people featured on here as well.
Joker could be the tip of the iceberg.Speaking to him recently I know he's already looking to release some more new shit soon.
